1. PREPARE FOR CLEANING - Revision

  • SET UP MATS TABLE

  • GET VACUUM CLEANING READY

  • GET TROLLEY READY WITH YOUR BUCKETS, PRODUCTS, CLOTHS, AND TOOLS

  • OPEN ALL THE DOORS IN THE VEHICLE AS YOUR DOING IT TAKE A LOOK AT THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE & TURN ALL THE LIGHTS OFF INSIDE THE VEHICLE

Is it really dirty?  Will I need anything extra?

2. MATS & RUBBISH

TAKE ALL THE RUBBISH & MATS OUT OF THE CAR (including boot)

CARPET MATS

  1. Shake Mats to get excess dirt off

  2. Vacuum Mats

  3. Clean with Interior Cleaner by spraying a small amount on the mat and wipe clean with green cloth. If there are stains, try to remove.

  4. Leave till later to put back in the car.

CARPET MATS

  1. Shake Mats to get excess dirt off.

  2. Clean with Interior Cleaner by spraying a small amount on the mat and wipe clean with green cloth - Note: if really dirty lay down on the cement and get Tommy to spray off with water.

  3. Spray with Super Sheen/Vinyl Rub evenly and sparingly, and wipe off with an orange rag.

  4. Leave till later to put back in the car.

IMPORTANT

Make sure the underneath of mats is clean before putting back in the vehicle.

DO NOT THROW OUT ANY IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS

3. VACUUM CAR

Vacuuming an interior of the vehicle is the most important thing you can do, the more dust and grime you get of with the vacuum the easier it will be to clean.

1. Start with Driver-side

Change the vacuum nozzle needed according to each area.

  • start with the roof area - the sun visors working your way down

  • dashboard

  • instrument panel & aircon vents

  • side panels

  • Steering wheel - including all buttons, blinker handles and under steering wheel area

  • center console - try not to vacuum up personal belongings

  • plastics in the foot area

  • front seat including seat area, back area, and all sides and grooves of seats

  • down the sides of the chair and footwell area and under the seat

  • door area from top to bottom including the rubbers and compartments in the door

  • door rubbers

  • door jambs if not wet or too grotty.

 

2. Move to the Driver side back

Change the vacuum nozzle needed according to each area.

  • start with the roof area - working your way down

  • Side panels 

  • back of the front seat

  • pull out armrest and vacuum 

  • rear window section if a sedan

  • tops of the back seat down the seat to the seat belt pockets and grooves of the seats

  • back air conditioner vents

  • the floor area

  • right under the front seat and under the back seat if applicable

  • plastics in the foot area

  • door area from top to bottom including the rubbers and compartments in the door

  • door rubbers

  • door jambs if not wet or too grotty.

3. Move to the rear of the vehicle

Change your vacuum Nozzles according to each area

  • start with the roof area - working your way down

  • Side panels 

  • back of the back seats

  • rear window if applicable

  • rear air conditioner vents if applicable

  • the floor area

  • vacuum all the grooves you can see

  • plastics in the floor area

  • door area from top to bottom including the rubbers and compartments in the door

  • door rubbers

  • door jambs if not wet or too grotty.

4. Move to the passenger front side of the vehicles

  • start with the roof area - the sun visors working your way down

  • dashboard

  • instrument panel & aircon vents

  • side panels

  • open glove box and give a quick vacuum (no need to take anything out)

  • side center console - try not to vacuum up personal belongings

  • plastics in the foot area

  • front seat including seat area, back area, and all sides and grooves of seats

  • down the sides of the chair and footwell area and under the seat

  • door area from top to bottom including the rubbers and compartments in the door

  • door rubbers

  • door jambs if not wet or too grotty.

5. Move to the rear passenger side

  • start with the roof area - working your way down

  • Side panels 

  • back of the front seat

  • rear window section if a sedan

  • tops of the back seat down the seat to the seat belt pockets and grooves of the seats

  • back air conditioner vents 

  • the floor area

  • right under the front seat and under the back seat if applicable

  • plastics in the foot area

  • door area from top to bottom including the rubbers and compartments in the door

  • door rubbers

  • door jambs if not wet or too grotty.

4. GLASS, MIRRORS, INSTUMENT & NAVIGATION PANELS

1. Start with Driver-side

  • windscreen

  • mirrors

  • instrument panels

  • including radio and navigation panel (microfibre cloth is better when doing this)

  • window - wind down a little to clean the top of the window

 

2. Move to the Driver side back

  • window - wind down a little to clean the top of the window

  • rear window if a sedan

  • side little windows if applicable

3. Move to the rear of the vehicle

  • rear window if applicable

  • side little windows if applicable

4. Move to the passenger front side of the vehicles

  • windscreen

  • mirrors

  • instrument panels

  • window - wind down a little to clean the top of the window

5. Move to the rear passenger side

  • rear window if applicable

  • side little windows if applicable

5. VINYL RUB PLASTICS & RUBBERS

1. Start Clean with Driver-side

  • start with the roof lights and sunglasses holder area 

  • the sun visors working your way down

  • dashboard

  • instrument panel & aircon vents

  • side panels

  • Steering wheel - including all buttons, blinker handles and under steering wheel area

  • center console

  • plastics in the foot area

  • down the sides of the chair and footwell area 

  • door area from top to bottom including the rubbers and compartments in the door

  • door rubbers

2. Move to the Driver side back

  • rear window section plastics if a sedan

3. Move to the rear of the vehicle

  • Side panels

  • door area from top to bottom including the rubbers and compartments in the door

4. Move to the passenger front side of the vehicles

6. DEODORISE

1. Start with Driver-side

  • spray small amount auto fresh on to the floor carper

2. Move to the Driver side back

  • spray small amount auto fresh on to the floor carper

3. Move to the rear of the vehicle

  • spray small amount auto fresh on to the floor carper

4. Move to the passenger front side of the vehicles

  • spray small amount auto fresh on to the floor carper

5. Move to the rear passenger side

  • spray small amount auto fresh on to the floor carper

7. FINALISE

1. Put all belongings back into the vehicle

  • where you found them

  • fold towels or blankets if needed

2. Put all Mats back in the vehicle

WELL DONE YOU HAVE FINISHED CLEANING THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE

now on to the next car or clean up

8. CLEAN UP

  1. wipe down tables

  2. sweep out cleaning area

  3. Empty out the bucket on to the garden

  4. rinse rags and put in corresponding buckets

  5. clean and put away all instruments used

How to Use

  1. Shake well. Always pre-test colour fastness of cloth upholstery before use. Apply sparingly with a fine spray to interior surfaces.

How to Use
